Hacktivist group, Anonymous, declares war on Donald Trump the second time
Watch Out Mr. Trump
Anonymous, the notorious hacktivist group, has declared war against Donald Trump.
The US Presidential hopeful has been shrouded in controversy ever since his statement that he was going to run for president. Anonymous has called on their supporters and those who dislike the real estate billionaire to take action against him by at least shutting down his websites, exposing of private information that might jeopardize his campaign and further sabotage his campaign in numerous ways.
A video which showed a person in a mask who claimed to be one of the group’s members said, “Dear Donald Trump, we have been watching you for a long time and what we see is deeply disturbing. Your consistent and hateful campaign has not only shocked the United States of America but you have shocked the entire planet with your appalling actions and ideas. You say what your audience wants to hear but in reality, you don’t stand for anything except for your personal greed and power.” The video was posted on popular video sharing network, YouTube.
We’ve Been Here Before
This is the second time that the hacktivist group has declared war on the business mogul. The first time which was back in December 2015, was due to the comments that Donald Trump had made about Muslims and their future in the country if he were to be elected President. Donald Trump said that if elected he would propose to the government to ban Muslims from coming into the United States.
Anonymous is the second group to attack Donald Trump with one other group which is connected with the Anonymous group also at cyber war with the billionaire. The group, New World Hackers has successfully taken down Trump’s election websites several times already, and in an interview with Newsweek they reportedly called him a “little bitch”.
Due to the hatred for Donald Trump, who is still campaigning to be chosen as the Republican candidate for the presidency, the call of arms that was called by the Anonymous group might just bring forth many people. The masked figure in the YouTube video which was posted called for hackers and activists around the world to “protect our future, our freedom and our very way of life.”
The video concluded, “We are encouraging every able person with a computer watching this video to participate in this operation. You do not need to know how to hack to support this important activity. This is not a warning. This is a declaration of total war.” The Anonymous group member added.
