Download the latest Java version
Install it on your PC
Download MegaBasterd – Mega Downloader from Github. It is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux.
Once you have downloaded the zip file, extract it through the use of WinRar or 7Zip.
Right click the MegaBasterd batch file
Select Run as administrator
If it asks you to create an API key, select No. Keep in mind that you might have the violate Mega terms of use without an API key.
Navigate to file menu
Select edit

Change your download location by clicking change it
Navigate to Use SmartProxy and enable it.
Enter your proxy details and you are good to go.
For you to be able to get your proxy details, go to a free proxy list site and type us proxy list into Google.
Open the first result and copy the proxy details and paste it into the SmartProxy section.
Enter the proxy details in the format of IP Address: Port

Download and install Cloudflare WARP app on your device or PC.
On the quick launch bar, you will find the WARP icon
Click on the icon
Select switch to connect
Ensure you select 1.1.1.1 with WARP. You could select it on Settings
WARP will then be connected to your Internet and you once it gets to 5 GB, it will stop downloading
If you wish to keep downloading, close WARP
Disconnect and reconnect your internet
Connect WARP and it will download again

JDownloader 2

JDownloader 2 is another option which is similar to MegaBasterd. It uses proxy technique which enables its users to bypass the Mega download limit.

Download the latest JDownloader.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
You will have to get good proxies. To do this, you will have to open Google and search Free US proxies and get IP addresses and port numbers
Open settings
Navigate to Connection Manager
Enter the IP addresses and port numbers that you have obtained from reputable Free US Proxies websites.
Check the bandwidth usage and again after downloading your file. This way, you could verify if the process is downloading
Get the link of the file by right-clicking on it and selecting Get Link option.
Navigate back to JDownloader 2 home page
Select Add New Links button found at the bottom left corner.
Go to LinkGrabber tab
Select Start All Downloads
Files will then be downloaded
