The original Dexter television series aired from 2006 to 2013 and garnished millions of world-wide fans and critically acclaimed as one of the best drama series of all time. Just recently a new series set 10 years after the disappearance of Dexter Morgan in the eye of the storm – Dexter: New Blood brings the story to an end with a final series of 10 episodes.
Is Dexter on Netflix or Hulu?
Fans of the hit show Dexter will be disappointed to learn that it is not currently available on either Netflix or Hulu in any country, not since December 31st, 2020. When Showtime launched their own streaming service, original Showtime series were removed from Netflix in order to attract subscribers.
Where and How to Watch Dexter Online in 2023
As of 2023, the original Dexter series is available on Amazon Prime US, and New Blood is available with the Show Time addon. If you are a Showtime fan, you can also subscribe directly to Showtime’s platform, or if you already have Amazon Prime, you can save some money by using the Showtime Addon only once you have completed all first 8 seasons of Dexter. Dexter is also available on fuboTV with the Showtime addon subscription.
However, if you are located outside of the US, you need to use a VPN to be able to access Dexter episodes, as Amazon Prime US and Showtime both require you to be connected locally to access Dexter episodes.
