Clinton Considered Bill Gates, Tim Cook, Michael Bloomberg For Vice President
WikiLeaks has been releasing thousands of emails over the past couple of weeks belonging to Hillary Clinton’s campaign chair John Podesta. One of the more interesting information revealed from the email dump was the list of potential running mates considered by Clinton’s campaign.
According to the leaked email, Clinton team listed more than 30 potential vice presidential candidates, including retired Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, his wife, Meilin Daggett, Apple CEO Cook, former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, Clinton’s campaign opponent Bernie Sanders, and Xerox, General Motors, Coca-Cola and Starbucks CEO, Rockefeller Foundation, and many members and Military generals.
The list also includes the final vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine. It’s unclear whether Clinton’s campaign really asked everyone on the list to be a vice presidential candidate. Although the vice presidency is second only to the president of the office, its power may not be as well-known enterprises as CEO.
